The image is taken from the award ceremony for the San Jose Spirit of Ireland Award which was presented this year to Colm Meaney.
Mr. Meaney has a long history with Star Trek: playing the part of Miles O’Brien in both the Next Generation and Deep Space Nine.
But we won’t ruin things by saying that Dublin, which San Jose is twinned with, is in Leinster, not Munster.
