American Airlines to end flights to Shannon
American Airlines is to cease it’s flights from Chicago to Shannon Airport from October.
The US airline operates daily transatlantic flights which will be axed while they concentrate on their US routes to Dublin.
It is feared by local public representatives that this is the beginning of the end of US flights at Shannon thanks to the Open Skies agreement which comes into full effect next year.
