We Are Observing Your Earth …. And Would Like To Make A Contact With You … Baby

God I love that Carpenters song. I know I am showing my age, although I am not as old as the song I do remember it.

Why is he waffling about the Carpenters, I hear you ask. Has squid not put enough milk in his Tia Maria or something?

Actually, I ran out of milk ages ago, but wanted to make a post about a new blogging project by Fustar called “Greetings Earthlings.”

He told us not to say WTF, but WTF. Have a look and let us know what you think. Personally I think it could be quite interesting.

Greetings Earthlings has been added to our list of Limerick Blogs.

As always, we are appealing to anyone who has a blog, visible to the public, which is related to Limerick, to send us the link.

It does not matter if it is your place to vent when your pissed off or it is about more serious topics, if it is availible to the public, we want to know about it.

We will give it a mention here and add it to our Limerick bloggers blogroll if you send your link to limerickblogger@gmail.com

Klaatu originally sang that, named after the alien charatcer in the epic 1951 sci-fi movie "The Day The Earth Stood Still".
Carpenters covered the song in 1977. It was #1 here but barely made the top 40 in North America
