Digout Day: Give a digout to people who deserve it
Today is Digout Day. The day we celebrate the awarding of a €38,000 pay rise to our fearless leader Bertie Ahern. A man who suffers the depravation of having to pay for his own cup of tea.
To mark the occasion, people are being asked to take the day off work today. But if one cannot do this, they are asked to wear funeral black for the day.
As well as these, the Limerick Blogger is asking it’s readers to give a dig out to some people that deserve it, Our local charities.
Please also be aware that these charities are listed in the order they were suggested and not in order of importance.
Here is a list of local charities, their addresses, where applicable their donation bank accounts, and what help you can give them, whether it be donating money, items for resale in charity shops, or food items for Christmas parcels for the poor.
