€100,000 drugs seizure in city

The clean-up operation continues. €100,000 worth of heroin and cannibis have been seized by Gardai following a search operation on the south side of the city, reports the Limerick Leader online.

A woman in her 20s has been arrested and taken in for questioning in relation to the find.

Nice to see the Gardai get their hands on some heroin for a change rather than exclusively cannibis and herbal cannibis, the stuff has the country ruined.

    Good, keep it up. Great results this year so far, almost gives me hope.

    The only worry I have is that should this person face charges the limp-wristed Judiciary will find some reason to impose a light sentence.

    Or, as in the case of the Watergate dealer last week, no custodial sentence at all, as he had to "look after his ADHD son". Yet nobody in silks seems to be bothered about the distressed parents/families who end up looking after the growing number of drug dependant sons and daughters destroyed by these drug dealing vermin? But of course, they're hardly regular clients, are they?.
