Further remanded: The man charged with the murder of Mark Moloney has been further remanded for another two weeks. Stephen O’Sullivan from O’Malley Park in Southill was before the court in relation to the murder charge.
During the hearing he complained to the court that he was confined for 23 hours a day. However Judge Tom O’Donnell stated that he should take his complaint up with his solicitor.
He further remanded O’Sullivan until April 29th.
Three months prison: A man who failed to adhere to an order by the courts to do 200 hours of community service has received a three month prison sentence.
James Clancy, of College Avenue, Moyross received the community service after he was convicted of threatening a female Garda in Castleconnel back in February. The Garda was preserving the scene of an arson attack when the incident happened.
On hearing that Clancy had not done his community service, Judge Tom O’Donnell sentenced him to three months in prison.
