It still hasn't arrived & I'm not holding my breath for it now. The amazing thing is I sent a package down to Lette's sister yesterday & she got it this morning. I can't believe how bad things have gotten with the post here. Is it going to get to the stage that we're going to have to post everything registered mail? There was actually an article last May in 1 of the local papers here about me. My mother Lord rest her was severely disabled & relying heavily on me to drive her about. Being only on a provisional licence I was pushing to have my test as soon as possible. I will never forget ringing up 1 day to see if there had been any cancellations. They told me that because I failed to turn up to my last test I would have to reapply. They had posted out the letter to me & I never, to this day have received it. I got so annoyed I got straight on to all the local papers. It didn't do any good though. Typical. I live in Galway & if I want to send a letter to my next door neighbour it has to go to Athlone first. How on earth can that make sense? Squid I really do hope you get a new award. But don't hold out any hope of getting anywhere with An Post. You won't, trust me I know. We never get mail on time. Good luck in your endeavors. Mi. The cut on my finger was one of thos eannoying ones just on the corner of the fingernail, while it don’t hurt much now it was very sore when I took me hand out of the box. I didn’t bust a vain or anything. sort of like a paper cut, very small but very sore. at the time
