Leo can’t believe all the penalty decisions this season!

Having been two down just into the second half courtesy of another dodgy penalty in the first half and a sickener of a deflection just into the second period, an injury weakened Limerick 37 showed some battling skills as they fought their way back into the game courtesy of a goal from Tommy Barrett. The super blues restored to their customary colours had a glorious opportunity to grab an equaliser when Barrett went down in the box in the second minute of injury time. However the fairy tale wasn’t to come through as Tommy’s penalty clipped the bar and went over. In truth, Dundalk were the better side throughout and probably deserved the win and their place at the top of the table. For the blues, the performance wasn’t the best but with some players due back from injuries and supsension soon, things will hopefully pick up.
