I'm all for continuous assesments to replace exams. Sporty, I probably am paranoid. I have that hate needles thing going on and have an inherent distrust of anyone who makes me get one when I feel there's nothinbg wrong with me. So much so that I still have the cert that they give everyone who gets the shot. There was old women rushing around to get water for me after the saw the colour my face went. ha ha Great idea Dunno. Two guys in my class had it and so we were all recommended to get the jab. When I was filling in my med forms before I started in UL in September I talked to my GP, he told me there was no need for me to be vaccinated (I'm middle aged!!) that the chances were I had come in contact with the mumps. And if you read the news reports, they are saying that it is a double vaccine - initial plus booster. So, I might be immune, in June by which time I'll be finished with UL. Perhaps, out of a sense of responsibility, they should cancel the exams and give us the grades we've averaged so far in the subjects :o) Soda – there was an outbreak in 2005, there were lots of vaccinations being offered then too.
