6 year old girl injured in shooting incident

Says a lot about Limerick really when after a 6 year old child is shot the BIG DEBATE is about was it serious, it was only as pellet gun , the DUBLIN MEDIA are out to get us - jesus wept - how many of the people on this board have kids - ever had to go to A&E with a child? Young lad of the crawfors shot - Millie and Gavin alomts burned to death - now another poor child caught in a drugs - ego - family feud- revenge - turf war

As for earlier comments about hoods playing grand theft auto - think there;s an element of that on this board as well - if all of ye are so concerned why aren't you doing something about it instead of bitching and glorifying the absolute scum bag element that exists in Limerick by giving them attention on boards like this - my answer - shut up and let the guards try and deal with it - if people turned a blind eye you would be surprised by what the cops could achieve - but unfortunatley they have to abide by the law - and who is that in favour of - how many people on this board vote? Now the way the headline states it makes it come across a lot worse than it is, no im not condoning what they did in any way but still it sounds to me like retards trying to have a bit of fun and a bullet went astray... I could of gotten the story wrong there but its a lot worse than a shotgun like the headline would make you believe.

doesnt matter if it was cap gun, a child had to go to hospital as a result. how can u defend that. things are getting out of control in limerick, every other week there are reports of someone being injured or killed. i appreciate cab are doing what they can, but maybe they should be given more power, they know who the heads are, give them the power and manpower to go in and take what they have, every last one of them, not just the big guns, but the little fish too. its about time they were put in their place.

well it says on rte news that two cars were involved so that was proberly the case then

it was definetly a shot gun and there was only one car involved, someone was shooting at the car and hit the young girl with some stray pelets

I have noticed conflicting reports alright, RTE say was a shotgun, leader says it was pellet gun, as did live 95 fm earlier.
