Frustration at Jackman Park
Limerick 37 drew 1-1 with the Wexford Youths in front of a crowd of 691 people last night. It is frustrating that the super blues can go and beat both Dundalk and Shelbourne away from home and then struggle to a home draw against the Youths. It was a fair result as the Youths were good value for the draw and have improved significantly since their first visit of the season. The home team did hit the bar twice but the visitors also missed an absaloute sitter of a one on one in the second half and super blues goalie Davie Ryan brought off some good saves. Hopefully the Limerick Gaa football team will have a good result when they play Kildare in the Senior football qualifiers at the Gaelic Grounds this evening.
