Limerick people are biggest communications users

A survey carried out by Eircom and Meteor has found that Limerick People are the highest users of modern communications technology in the country.

The survey found that Limerick people send an average of 8.7 text messages a day, and have the highest use of broadband in the country.

The survey found that women spend more time on the phone than men.

The average length of a landline phone call is four minutes and two seconds, while for a mobile, it is one minute and thirty-five seconds.
