Some bits and pieces
Intel has announced an expansion to its R & D facility in Shannon. Mary Coughlan was around yesterday to announce a 50 million euro investment that may create up to 134 jobs over the next four years. Intel have a facility in the Shannon Free Zone. Still on a political tone, Our MInister for Defence is out in Chad at the minute but wants the Heineken cup semi final (should Munster qualify of course) played at the gaelic grounds instead of Croke Park.
In other tv news, John Gilligan, CIty Mayor was on Pat the Plank, the Late Late show last night. Feed should be on http://www.rte.ie/tv/latelate/ later on.. Also No Frontiers the travel show is on RTE 1 on Sunday @ 7.30pm with a piece on Limerick as a travel destination.
