I was at one of these things in dublin before and in fairness thats how they work your ticket cost covers the party or niteclub admission or whatever – but all the stuff thats leftover goes to charity – i suppose u could just go directly to charity shop but then thats not the same thing different strokes for different folks

hmm , olivia , i have to say like the charity thing looks like an afterthought, looks another get rich quick scheme. there is nothing sadder than limericks local ego drive so called 'celebtrities' coming out of the woodwork to fulful their sad sense of self importance. this is nothing more than a money making opportunity for someone . surely if you have clothing you dont want a charity shop is the best place for them .

aw the poor darlings of social limerick,lets try be trendy and slum it with 2nd hand clothes.if you have any unwanted items a charity shop would love them.i like the way its only the celebrity auction is for charity.these is for the type of ladies that lunch,celtic tiger brown thomas,try to in the paper every week type.

Thanks Squid, the charity contribution is from the Celebrity Auction (*this will be a silent auction so purchases are private) at the end of the night where the likes of Celia Holman Lee, Emma O'Driscoll, Leanne Moore and more will be donating items. Bids will also be accepted for leftover exchange items and can be purchased with cash (which will go to the charities) or a combination of cash and leftover Stylexchange tokens
