BizCamp at University of Limerick

David Quaid, who spoke at the BizCamp conference at the Kemmy School of Business about Search Engine Management.
Some of the sharpest brains in business gathered today at the University of Limerick to share their insights into entrepeneurship.
Numerous talks were held at the Kemmy School of business
Two discussions which I attended were by David Quaid (pictured) who talked about Search Engine Management, basically how to make the likes of Google work for you.
Another by Anton Mannering, discussed the importance of networking in business, that is, introducing yourself to other people who may further the growth of your business and develop opportunities.

Networking with others was the main point being driven home on the day. The event literature stated that the most important part of BizCamp happened outside the lecture theatres and in the lobby and corridors.
Before the end of the day, a discussion was held in the main theatre entitled “What Next?”
The session, moderated by Stephen Kinsella, and a panel including the man behind the Greenhouse Business Incubator Evert Bopp and Pat Phelan of Cube Telecom, took questions from the audience on the state of the telecommunications infrastructure in Ireland, the merits of state agencies such as Enterprise Ireland, and the best way to secure investors for new business.
There will be video of a portion of this session uploaded later
