Election shuffle: FFer calls it a day while SFer throws his hat in the ring
Limerick County Council will be bidding adieu to one of it’s most notorious members in June as Fianna Fail’s Noreen Ryan has announced she has decided not to run in the next election.
Councillor Ryan is currently sitting for the Castleconnel electoral area.
She has cited personal reasons for her decision not to run this time around.
Meanwhile, Sinn Fein have announced that Richard Young, (32) a qualified engineer and married father of two from Banogue, will run for the party in the Kilmallock electoral area.
Originally from County Sligo, Mr. Young moved to Limerick in 1998 and started his own business before studying at Limerick Institute of Technology to be an engineer.
