Limerick student wins Doodle4Google contest

St. Munchin’s College will be in celebratory mood as one of their own, Evan O’Sullivan Glynn won the Doodle4Google competition.

The contestants were required to create a St. Partrick’s Day banner for the Google Search engine.  This banner would be seen on Google’s Irish, UK, American, Canadian and Australian websites.

Evan’s entry, “My Irish Roots” pictured above, received the most votes from the transition year, fifth and sixth year categories.

St Munchin’s College will now be the beneficiary of a €10,000 technology grant, and both Evan and his teacher have won a laptop computer each.
