Máire Hoctor prime time interview, – live?
North Tipperary TD Máire Hoctor seems to be having a run of bad luck lately. Fresh from being booed off the podium at the Nenagh Hospital rally, we got this.
We never know which of the studio segments of Prime Time are live or not. We are never told. But were it not for a cockup by some RTE editor, we would never have known that Maire Hoctor was a pre-recorded interview.
It raises the question. How many politicians are afforded the opportunity to pre-record their segments when they go on these shows. Are they afraid to do them live?

UPDATE: The ironic part of all this is that Deputy Hoctor was unable to give a live interview on the Government decision not to publish the promised care strategy plan on Monday because she was in Adare – giving out carer certificates.
