From the blurb
The Limerick Co-Ordination Office in association with Limerick’s Live 95FM is running a very special competition for the city’s 2009 St Patrick’s Festival.
We’re looking for a young boy or girl to be the 2009 Junior Marshal and lead the Celebration of Limerick rugby section of the St Patrick’s Day Parade on Tuesday, March 17th.
The lucky winner will:
- Be driven along the parade route with a parent/guardian in a swanky 1970 Munster red MGB roadster just like secret agent James Bond!
- Have the honour of being a VIP and the first Limerick Junior Marshal
- Meet Murty the mascot
- Lead the hundreds strong Red Army of parents and junior rugby fans.
There will also be goody bags for all the daily winners!
To Enter:
Listen to Mark and Catriona on the Live 95FM breakfast show between 7am-9am every day from Monday 9th-Friday 13th March and tell us why YOU love Limerick and should be picked to be the Junior Marshal at the 2009 Limerick St Patrick’s Day Parade.
JOIN THE RED ARMY AND SUPPORT YOUR LOVE OF RUGBY!
We’re also looking for young rugby fans and their parents/guardians to wear their Munster or club colours and represent the Red Army in the parade.
If you and your child/children are free between 11.15am and 1pm on Tuesday, March 17th and want to celebrate Munster, your club and our national day, then we want to know!
All you need to do is wear your Munster jersey and dress your child in Munster colours on the day.
