Quinlivan elected joint treasurer of Sinn Féin

Left to Right: Dawn Doyle, Gerry Adams, Mary Lou McDonald, Maurice Quinlivan, Rosaleen Doherty and Declan Kearney with Sinn Féin Director of Finance Des Mackin before the first meeting of the newly elected Officer Board on Wednesday

Limerick North local election candidate Maurice Quinlivan was elected joint treasurer of the Sinn Fein party earlier this week.  We are assured however, that as the position is voluntary, it will not affect his work in Limerick as a candidate, or as a councillor if he is elected next June.

Mary Lou McDonnald was elected vice-president of the party.

Maybe they might get their Anti-EU and local election materials printed in the State now that a local has some control of the purse strings.
  • Pat
Hoof, might be no harm if you suggested the same to Fianna Fail & the rest of them as well.
  • Hoof
Well, if they appoint local treasurers Pat I'd be more than happy to.

so, on the off chance any Fn'Ffers or indeed the other parties are looking in here, please remember to support local or at least nationally based businesses, who despite having to pay some of the highest VAT rates in Europe thanks to our legislators, would still welcome your business.

Be it for printing, posters, signboards or electronic voting machines.
