Travel Advisory: Limerick City and County

Heavy snow is forcast, and is at this very moment, falling in both City and County.

Whilst we are not hearing of it acumulating in Limerick City or County, it is doing so in parts of North Tipperary.

Also, even though it is not sticking, it is likely to affect visibility when driving.

UPDATE: Snow is now starting to accumulate in the City

UPDATE: Met Eireann have issued a weather warning

Issued at 04 March 2009 – 00:00
Weather Advisory
Very cold overnight and at first on Wednesday with a widespread frost and some icy patches.
Wintry showers also, with hail, sleet and snow in places.

not in LIM at the moment but is it that 'three snowflakes and the end is near' scenario again?

wouldn'tg be the first time armageddon is knocking on LIMs doors because of 3 little snowflakes that are gone after 20mins...
