Visually Impaired Paddy to run for office
There is a feature on one of the more interesting election candidates on page 23 of the Limerick Post, which can be read here
Paddy Mason, from St. Mary’s Park, is an acomplished accordian player, community activist, and would be local councillor. He is also totally blind.
In recent years he has been involved in the local community centre and was responsible for spearheading a regeneration day in his community.
A past-pupil of St. Joseph’s School for the Visually Impaired in Drumcondra, Dublin, Paddy has been living in St. Mary’s Park for nigh on twenty years.
Anyway, the article is worth a read.
