Caption competition: Captions received

Last week, Green Party MEP Deirdre de Burca spotted our bit of fun caption contest and fronted a €50 prize.  Hare is a list of the captions which were received in one handy place for judging.  The contest is now closed.

Lette : “Listen love, you can try and pull all you want but your still not going to score!!”

Indielimerick : They are both tyring to work out if the ball is pumped or stuffed

scrumhalfconnection : Men’s rugby bowing to women’s rugby…finally!

countrygirl : Who goes down first again?

Patrick Walsh :  Green Party candidates scrummage for success on the Limerick streets

CN : Deidre has a firm grip on Danny’s ball.

r3pr3z3nt : Danny protects his only ball.

Niall : All the provinces need a green in June!
blah blah blah : “Take heed deirdre,this ball has supernatural powers”.
boxerdog : Leather egg Hatches and sprouts two Eejet’s
Pat : Jeasus Deirdre, between us and Fianna Fail we have made a balls of the country.
