The blurb for that is below

Only formed just over a year, Limerick’s first comedy improv troupe ‘Choke Comedy Improv’, already have a sell out show and a Special Judges’ Award from Limerick Unfringed under their belt. Resulting from all this is a series of monthly gigs at Red Cross Hall – the temporary residence of The Belltable. Following two succesful April  and May shows, the third and final of these monthly slots takes place on Wednesday June 3rd.
Bringing much needed laughter in times lacking good news, Choke Comedy sets foot on stage with no script or safety net. A show that is driven by its audience, comments have been left on the door ranging from ‘Hilarious’ to ‘I go to the Cat Laughs in Kilkenny every year and I’ve never cried – I cried twice tonight, so funny!’ That’s good kind of
crying – honest!

So Wednesday June 3rd the doors at Red Cross Hall are at 8pm and tickets are €10. For more information phone The Belltable on

I went to the Red Cross Hall tonight to watch ‘Choke Comedy Improv’ for the first time. What a blast this group of talented people are. This performance has me exhilirated, energised and very very very amused. The pace was right, the quick wit almost continuous and the energy infectious. More people should see these excellent artists. What a treat!!
