Blasphemy is one of the lowest crimes there is, and it is not victimless, as god is being made a victim by it.
I think people that commit blasphemy are low idiots and are a disgrace to themselves and to all humanity.

god is only a victim if you believe in him. I won't even start on christians being dull pieces of shit. because quite frankly there isn't enough space here to type all the reasons. Think of this though: While you willl be sitting on your knees in church this weekend, I will be out enjoying the weather and having a laugh. And when you finally get to the end of life and realise everything you worshipped never existed, I will also be there...laughing at you.

I totally oppose it. Its well time for the state to kick the church out of the fabric of Irish society. This is not the 1950's anymore. As for blasphemy laws; blasphemy is just something people can shout when their weak and faulty belief systems start being picked apart by logical and realistic reasoning.

Blasphemy is the use of the name of one or more gods, in a manner which is considered objectionable by a religious authority. It may include using sacred names as stress expletives without intention to pray or speak of sacred matters.

So anytime your accidently, or purposely, blaspheme simply say amen directly afterwards and you are off the hook.
