I hear ya! Oh, how i hear ya!

One of those evicted families has ended up next door to me here in Shannon. The girlfriend originates from the moyross area of Limerick and even here in Shannon both her and her boyfriend are well known to the Guards, supposedly being connected to one of the feuding families there. I can well believe it given their recent behaviour, including threatening to shoot both myself and my wife, and throwing empty beer glasses at the windows, oh... and not to forget the obligatory claim to having links to the IRA.

The HSE have informed us they have no obligation toward the tenants they house and the Guards (though doing all they can to help us) are continually thwarted by these people who know exactly what they can get away with and when to do it.

However, after their initial eviction from Limerick, they have been moved on around Shannon 3 times that we know of, so it obviously can be done.

I'll throw a party myself the day they leave!

None of this suprises me i have read a msn date blog on mikey rings and his opening line is ''its the council how hard can it be'',and he is a council worker,all i can say if i was his employer reading that i would have his p45 processed very quickly!The reason for this is of course NEPOTISM,and this guy seriously he is as thick as hell..The county coucilors in limerick seem to have the same problem bad staff that are over paid and just won't budge there is a saying it is impossible to fire a council worker,well i think that is true,as i have heard so many stories about this in clare and limerick.
There is a problem with social housing which is not being genuinely addressed,by local people who live on the council,and couty council workers seem to have a habit of moving these people on and rehousing them,this COST US LAW ABIDING CITIZENS MONEY,and sometimes it even encourages certain individuals who live on these estates to mess their houses up so they can be moved to a newer house!!
How many of these council workers live beside this muck??

The Gardai should be equally capable all over Ireland!! They are all equally trained in Irish law! Don't talk non sense.

Evictions are evictions, lets hope there much more, if it's deserved of them.

..but it looks like you cannot please everyone. Typical moaning mentality of this country.

I'd love to know what happened to that one tenant who was evicted. My bet is he was evicted from one house but simply moved to another on application or threat of legal action.

It's also interesting that this doesn't include the families "evicted" from Limerick but re-housed in Shannon, Ennis, Mallow, Clonmel etc where they are now causing bloody mayhem as the Gardai in these towns aren't equipped to deal with them. No doubt they are simply recategorised as something other than eviction.

Lies, damn lies, statistics, and Irish Civil Service reports.
