Argos are looking for their Christmas staff, this year they expect to take on 800 people countrywide of which 50-60 will be for applicants in Limerick.
Since coming to Ireland 15 years ago Argos has been a big hit with shoppers, it’s handy to be able to get items under the one roof so they always have a steady stream of customers which of course goes up come Christmas
The company says the workers will have flexible working hours, training and competitive pay and that they will also receive a staff discount during their period of employment.
According to Terry Duddy some of those who are hired for the Christmas period may even end up securing permanent roles early in the new year
