Lions score predicion thread
Hi all,
Same rules as ever.
1: No repeating of already posted scores.
2: Whoever gets the correct score wins, obviously!
3: If no-one gets exact score closest score on aggrigate wins.
4: If aggrigate still does not seperate then closest to winning teams score wins.
This time I am gonna leave the prize up to ye! Best suggestion taken!
My prediction: SA 24 - 30 Lions
Heres hoping!

I'm prepared to splash out for the prize here:
The winning entry will recieve a meal for two in the swanky surrounds of The Mucky Duck for its' now famous Cabaresh'n'Tripe Nite. A karaoke singer of your choice will croon at your table, two bottles of Chateau clonmel du bateyerwife served chilled (as you do), some local tapping will be followed by a moonlight trip by ambulance to enjoy some after hours trolley service at Le Regional, a little diner on the outskirts, where you can recover at your leisure.

SA 20 Lions 23
Hoof your prize seems delightful. Could it be extended a tad to take in the nearby Bar de la Rocher and La Chaudron both purveyors of Ch. Clonmmel and their show piece Ch. Clonmel Poir avec Glacons.

Re: Lions score predicion thread
I predicted the front 10 but am suprised at the omission of Luke Fitz at 11, and his complete omission from the bench. I felt Monye had played himself off the team. No Earls either, but maybe this was a step too far too soon. Delighted for Wallace, and Tommy Bowe. Rob Kearney can feel agrieved that he doesnt start. Was talking to a lad last night and he predicted that Kearney could have started at 11 also, which had me thinking. Now I see the selection he is the utility back.
Lets hope now tha BOD lasts more than the 38 seconds the last time.
BTW The legend O' Connel is getting bigger by the minute!!!

Re: Lions score predicion thread
Earls didn't have a chance, he needed to really shine in the games he played in to grab the eyes of the selectors. Unfortunately he didn't, he had a few good runs playing as full back but when he was in the center the lack of a strong inside center made him invisible. What I noticed though was that he was there in support every time the inside center was stopped and this was lacking in Tuesdays game. I thought that they should have played him on the wing but who knows it's early day's yet.
I'm glad the ROG is on the bench, he is far too weak (tackling) at the No 10 spot against a team like the boks, they would simply run down that channel all day long and wear him down to the point where they could run there at will. He is a great player off the bench for the lions though because his tactical kicking is second to none and he automatically disrupts the tempo of a defense when he gets on the field.
